Recently, artificial intelligence (AI) has become a hot topic across various industries, with many people concerned about their jobs being replaced by AI. I couldn't help but ask ChatGPT to see what it had to say, and its response was:
"Although artificial intelligence has made significant progress in many fields, completely replacing a ZiweiDoushu master in the profound and spiritually rich traditional domain like ZiweiDoushu is still quite difficult. ZiweiDoushu is not just a mechanical interpretation of the stars and houses in the life chart; it also involves deep insights and analysis of the person's personality, destiny, and various aspects of their life. I think this viewpoint makes sense. Currently, AI's chart interpretation still has some limitations.
1. Dependence on Database Accuracy
AI-based chart interpretation relies entirely on the database it uses. If the information in the database is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, the results of AI’s chart interpretation will surely be affected. The interpretation of ZiweiDoushu not only involves analyzing the stars and houses but also needs to consider the interactions between the stars and changes in destiny cycles, etc. If the database cannot fully cover these complex factors, AI's chart interpretation may go wrong.
2. Lack of Flexible Intuition and Experience
An experienced ZiweiDoushu master can interpret the chart flexibly based on the individual’s specific situation. Besides looking at the stars, they must also consider the person's personality, background, emotions, and other factors. This analysis is not simply about mechanically comparing the chart, but involves intuition and deep insights into destiny—what is often referred to as "觸機（Chuji）"in Chinese. Unfortunately, AI currently cannot achieve this.
3. Inability to Handle Complex Interactions and Subtle Changes
In ZiweiDoushu, the interactions between the stars and houses are very complex, and often need to take their combinations and mutual influences into account, even subtle changes to the person's destiny. AI might miss these details, especially in some special chart configurations. A human master’s intuition and experience often uncover aspects that AI might overlook.
Of course, I do not rule out the possibility that in the future, artificial intelligence may develop to a stage where it can rival a ZiweiDoushu master in its chart interpretation abilities. However, for now, AI is still some distance from reaching that goal.
